We are proud of our rooms and ask that you advise us immediately of anything that is not of your satisfaction. Please report any breakages so these can be replaced for you. Please leave the room in which you found it. Should you have any further queries, please see the friendly staff in Reception. Please be aware that as local owners/operators, we live onsite, and are available to be contacted at any time, day or night, should you have any issues regarding your room or other guests. From time to time we have Relief Managers in place, but someone will always be available to deal with any issues.
Disability Room:
Please give us a call to book this room as it is also used as an emergency accommodation.
Guest BBQ:
A barbecue is available for guest use. Please contact Reception should you require cooking utensils etc.
Guest Laundry:
Is situated between rooms 8 and 9 and is available for use between the hours of 8.00am and 8.00pm. N.B. These times are STRICTLY adhered to, if you have clothes in the washing machine or dryer at 8pm. they will be locked in until 8am the next morning. Please note that the usage of the washing machine is free, but the drier requires $4 in gold coins to operate. A clothesline is located adjacent to room 16. Washing powder is available from Reception for a small fee. A laundry service is also available if preferred. Please contact Reception for further details.
Windscreen Washing:
For your convenience windscreen washers are located near parking reserves at rooms 4 and 14. For windscreens ONLY.
TV Viewing Options:
The motel has Smart TV’s with standard free to air channels.
Air-conditioning:
A remote control is located adjacent to the light switch near the entry door. Ensure that the power tag (attached to the room key) is inserted in its bay before activating the remote control. N.B. To achieve maximum efficiency the air-conditioner should be run at 22 degrees during summer, and 24 degrees during winter. When operating the air-conditioner in winter months, set the temperature at 24 degrees and allow 3 to 4 minutes for the heating cycle to commence. In addition, please ensure that the door and windows are closed during its operation.

Reception Hours:
Monday to Sunday 7.00am until 8.00pm
Check In:
Rooms are ready for Check in from 2pm onwards. If you are arriving later than 8pm. Please arrange for a late check in by calling reception before 8pm to give us your eta.
Check Out:
Is strictly 10.00am. Should you require a late check out please discuss your needs with Reception staff. If you are intending to leave prior to 7.00am we ask that you settle your account, the night before. When departing early, leave your room key in the door or inside your room. If your room is not left how you found it, you will be charged a cleaning fee starting at $250.
Lost key:
A fee of $200 will be charged for a lost key.
Pets:
NO pets permitted in the room under NO circumstances. A cleaning fee will be charged if we find pet hair or pooh in the room.
Smoking Policy:
All rooms are strictly NON SMOKING. Butt bins are placed outside Room 1 and 16, for your use. Please ensure you have the window and door shut on your room, to prevent smoke drift into your room. If you smoke in your room, you will be charged a substantial fee for a total sanitisation of your room, and your smoke alarm will activate.
Parking:
Please park in your numbered carpark. If you have a reversing beeper on your vehicle, please reverse park, to minimise noise when departing in the morning.
Noise:
Whilst we encourage a friendly atmosphere, please be considerate of other guests, and keep noise to a minimum, no parties are permitted. 9.00pm onwards is quiet time.
Security:
Motel has Security camera’s and front gate buzzer, but please lock your vehicle and take any valuables into your room overnight.

Fire Evacuation:
In the event of a fire alarm please assemble at the main entrance to the Motel, at the ASSEMBLY POINT sign.

Chinchilla is known for ‘THE BIG WATERMELON’ which is in front of our Motel.
The Watermelon Festival is every 2nd year. The next one will be February 2025.
Chinchilla Show 3rd week in May.
Chinchilla Visitor Information Centre: Is located across the road and is well worth a visit. It offers a comprehensive array of material for local features and attractions.
Chinchilla Botanical Parklands is behind the ‘BIG WATERMELON’ across the road from our Motel, parking is in Canaga St. It has the water park, climbing wall, sandpit, undercover BBQ areas and walking tracks.

All meals are room service.
Evening Meals:
Are served between 6.00pm and 7.30pm Monday to Sunday. Should you wish to place an order please fill out your menu at Reception. Where possible, orders are to be placed before 6.00pm.
Breakfast:
Is available every day from 6.30am to 8.00am Please complete your breakfast order form at Reception by 8.00pm the night prior.
Continental Breakfast:
Is available if an early morning departure is planned. Choose Items from the room service breakfast menu at Reception before 8.00pm the night prior.
Lunch Packs:
Are available and include a choice of sandwiches, fruit, biscuits and cake, a savoury snack and drink. Orders are to be placed with Reception staff the day before.
Liquor:
Other than your mini bar selection, an assortment of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks are available from Reception.
Mini Bar:
A selection of mini bar items has been provided for your convenience. Your mini bar will be checked and restocked each day during your stay. Please record all items consumed on the mini bar slip provided and present it to Reception on settling your account. Should you depart prior to Reception opening hours please leave the mini bar slip and payment in your room. N.B. Bottled Water is part of the mini bar. The coffee, tea, biscuits are complimentary.

Rooms are serviced daily. If you place your towels on the floor, staff will supply fresh towels but if you are happy to re-use them simply hang them on the rails or hooks provided.
